Direct Download Links For Official Windows 7 SP1 Integrated Bootable Disc Images

Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is available for download since past few months now, the free SP1 update to Windows 7 was pushed as KB976932 via Windows Update publicly in February this year. Microsoft has now made available official direct download links to bootable Windows 7 SP1 integrated disc images in standard .iso format, these new SP1 slipstreamed images has the added advantage that users will have an up-to-date installation just after the initial setup.

These direct download links are from Microsoft's official mirror provided by Digital River and allows users with the usual 30 days of evaluation time after which they need to activate using a legitimate key. These .iso files can be burnt as bootable DVD discs or bootable usb sticks as demoed here - http://www.megaleecher.net/Installing_Windows_Using_USB_Flash_Drive .

Thanks @shobits1, I get the same CRC and MD5 with my download. And the SH-1 is 1693B6CB50B90D96FC3C04E4329604FEBA88CD51

Have you installed it into a system yet @shobits1? My system is not built yet, but hope to get it going in 2 weeks.

BTW the hash from technet.microsoft.com is different because they are different files. Common misunderstanding. Digital River must modify the MS original files.

Rather than downloading each ISO for the version of Win7, why not make one ISO able to install any version (either 32-bit or 64-bit, not both!).
It is very easy to do...

Download the ISO (in my case, I DL'd the 64-bit ultimate), open the ISO with a program like PowerISO or 7-ZIP, navigate to the Sources directory, locate the file called ei.cfg. Delete it.
Save the ISO.
Burn to DVD or USB flash drive.
Now when the installer boots it will ask you which version you wish to install.

***NOTE - obviously your license key will only work with the version it was packaged with. So this process is really for people who do installs on a regular basis (like IT people)***

i am not able to do this, i opened the iso of 64 bit ultimate with the help of daemon tools and copied it in new folder and deleted the file ei.cfg. and made a iso image with the help of ashampoo burning studio 10.

and used that image to burn on RW- DVD .. burnt it atlast after getting two ,three failures ..... bt that DVD is not giving the boot option ..... when restart my lapi with it..............

what to do..............

Apply the ei.cfg remover from here:

Part of my job requires me to stay on top of this subject. The article you have written has been beneficial in my research. Thanks a lot.

i used ypur trick and deleted ei.cfg file bt i am unable to get both versions 32 & 64. it is just showing all versions of windows 7 64 bit......

Windows 7 Professional x86 SP1 X17-24280.iso (old, bootable)
X17-59183.iso (new, bootable)

http://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/14-windows-7-direct-download-links

what does it mean "old" and "new"?..can anybody tell me..if knows.i have downloaded pro sp1 from this site (x17-24280)..is this old?..please inform me and everybody..thanks..

X17-24... images all have a bug that's been fixed with update KB2534111. That's fixed with the X17-58... ones. It's just a single hotfix. No need for an overall new download if you already got an X17-24... iso file.

I have downloaded the window 7 ultimate 64 bit... i have check its md5 , its is same as given in one of comment.........

bt when i tried to burn the disk image with Ashampo burning studio 10, i lost my 2 blank dvd's in that , bcoz that showed a error....

after that i used my re -writable dvd , and use the above method , given in the above comment to make single disk for both 32 & 64 bit , and again i tried two three times ....

atlast i got success and try to boot ..... bt that is not showing any option to boot...

i again used the 64 bit image , and wrote the rw-dvd and burnt it......
again i restarted my laptop and it again not giving the boot option....

what should i do..........

i currently have 32 bit ultimate i my lapi........

thanks a lot, i already had one version but an original version is way more interesting!!

pls give the link for windows 7 sp1 which have both 32 & 64 bit......

pls......
