Majority of us must have cursed the "one-way-in only" approach of USB ports, specially when working in those hard to reach places on a computer. Thanks to the now finalized new USB 3.1 specification, the reversible USB Type-C standard would be the next upgrade to the technology offering users the ease to shove the cable any-side they want. Almost similarly sized to the current micro-USB Type-B connector specification, the Type-C version of the USB 3.1 standard will also feature data-rate of 10Gbps which is twice as fast as USB 3.0. The new specification also supports power-delivery capacity to carry upto 100 watts, easily enough to power a laptop.
