Samsung has announced that they won't be updating their popular Samsung Galaxy S device series to the latest Google Android 4.0 Ice-cream Sandwich, the popular Galaxy S smartphone which got sold 10 million units last year along with the 7-inch Galaxy Tab tablet won't receive the much awaited Android 4.0 upgrade.
While the "Samsung Galaxy S" boasts of same hardware specs. as you'll find inside the Nexus S which is in-fact receiving Android 4.0 over-the-air now, the company is citing lack of sufficient RAM and ROM to run the new update with TouchWiz and other Samsung software (read crapware) installed on the device.
