Technology is making our life easier everyday and one such application is to close the communication barriers across various languages spoken around the world, Google Android 6.0 brings a great feature to it's arsenal allowing users to enjoy the power of Google Translation service from within an app. No more copy-pasting and switching back and forth between apps and screens to translate text, with this new feature translating text, chats, and other app content got a whole lot easier. Beginning this week, you’ll be able to translate in 90 languages right from within some of your favorite apps like TripAdvisor, WhatsApp and LinkedIn.
This new "in-app" translation feature as shown above works on any device running the newest version of Android’s operating system (Android 6.0, Marshmallow). You just need to have the Translate app installed on your Android phone. From there, just go to an app, like TripAdvisor or LinkedIn, and highlight and select the text you want to translate. This feature is already enabled in apps that use Android text selection behavior.
