It was just a matter of time before coders start developing custom-firmwares for Sony PS3 console after public root-key leakage by GeoHot, the news is, that milestone has just been reached with first-ever custom-firmware being made available to public by developer who goes by name - Kakaroto. Although, no compiled built is being made available by the developer citing legal/copyright issues all tools needed to make your brew are have been made available at github.

While this custom PS3 firmware compile does not allow pirated PS3 games, it is once again a matter of few more days when someone do that and posts it for public consumption opening piracy gates on the console.
