Microsoft has revealed the very first information about Internet Explorer 9 at this year's ongoing Professional Developers Conference, the information shared at the PDC reveals the new version of web-browser will feature improved javascript performance, better font-rendering with enhanced web-standards support.

Apart from the javascript performance enhancement shown in the comparison chart above, Internet Explorer 9 will also make use of DirectX API's for all graphic and text-rendering job's providing a much smoother result as shown below.
