Despite it's practical and innovative approach to portable computing, Microsoft Surface didn't fared very well against Apple iPad. However, with the new Surface Pro 3 Microsoft seems to have hit the right spot by offering a impressive, power-packed, feature-rich tablet which can replace your laptop. Equipped with a 12” 2160 x 1440 Multi-touch HD display, choice of 4th generation Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7 CPU and the power of Windows 8.1 Pro - Surface Pro 3 definitely has all the guts to be a laptop and tablet in a lightweight, versatile form. Except for the stylus, which isn't an integral part of the tablet, is only held by magnets (cheap ones, so it falls off easily), if you get the keyboard you have a cheapo piece of fabric to hold it... then there's the fact that trying to have it stay on your lap, will result in the tablet+keyboard to just fall to your feet because of how the weight is distributed...
