Why this version doesnt include window media player
due to legal battles with the European Commission this version of window 8 which was ripped in UK will not have window media player. But other places will get release of win8 after aug 6 to 15th.
As for a crack or hack. Give it another week or two and im sure someone will find thier way around WGA
