Sony PSP's upcoming 4.0 firmware update will bring Google search functionality to the portable gaming console, in an official post at Playstation blog Eric Lempel, Director of PlayStation Network Operations posted:

This new upgrade replicates the Google Internet search experience, delivering the same search results that you’d get at www.google.com. And with a search history recall of 20 items, Web searches couldn’t be easier.

After you download and install the firmware on your PSP, click on the XMB’s Network icon and then the new Internet Search icon. Enter your keywords and then let Google’s algorithms do the work. You’ll need to be connected to the Internet via a wireless access point or Wi-Fi hotspot. Googling something on the go has never been more convenient on your PSP.

Another new feature delivered through the 4.00 update is the ability to change viewing speed during playback of videos stored on your Memory Stick PRO Duo, so you can speed through or slow down what you’re watching. To do this simply press the up or down directional buttons while playing a video.

After introducing VOIP for PSP earlier and now Google search, the move represents Sony’s continued efforts for expanding the Internet features on the device.

Year's most awaited game GTA IV is scheduled to officially get released on 29 April this year, however pirate group iCON somehow managed to get hands on the XBOX 360 version of the game and leaked it on file-sharing websites and torrent portals seven days advance of the official release date, this 6.36 GB XBOX360 download is said not to be region free meaning only people in Asia, Japan, Australia and some European countries can play it.

HAWX features an Enhanced Reality System (ERS), which is meant to make even the average pilot feel like Iceman. ERS includes radars, incoming missile detection, an anti-crash system, damage control system, tactical map, information relay, weapons trajectory control and allows players to give commands to their AI squadron. With the Assistance Mode flipped on, the ERS will put pilots into a maximum safety mode. Think of it like having all the assists turned on in a racing game. You get more freedom and control with Assistance Mode off, but you will also be at greater risk without the full protection of the ERS.

DoubleSix is an addictive, browser based shoot-em-up genre flash game, nothing fancy here simply use your cursor keys to move left-right, point and shoot using mouse and down arrow key to reload ammo.

Duke Nukem Forever (DNF) the sequel of the popular Duke Nukem game series is expected to get released this year as reported by "Dallas Business Journal" based on a interview with 3D Realms President Scott Miller, the game suffered several delays in its production cycle which started in April 1997.
