Indian Mobile Operator BSNL To Offer Mobile Television

India's largest telecommunication's company BSNL is all set to release TV on mobile services, currently offered free for testing as a technology preview the company is already providing 12 TV channels, there are three subscription plans at present:
- ‘One channel per day’ plan Rs. 10 (1 USD ~= Rs. 39)
- ‘One channel for one month’ plan for Rs. 50
- All 12 channels for Rs. 150 per month
a streaming server is operated by Apalya Technologies to receive inputs from live TV and then beam it onwards to BSNL subscribers through the use of GPRS and EDGE technologies.
to subscribe send a sms ‘MYTV’ to 55447 and download the ‘mimobi.tv’ application. you can also directly downloading the application from http://59.162.166.210.8080/OTA/DownloadMimobiTV.

it is available on all plans prepaid & postpaid, yeah the link is down but you can download the .sis symbian software from fre BSNL GPRS portal from your handset. Also, it seems they are offering the service free for now while testing.
