To promote the keyless entry system feature in Ford cars, the company has released a Chrome extension which once configured, stores user login details for websites like Facebook, Google, and Twitter and then, whenever the user is near their Mac computer the app detects them via bluetooth from an pre-approved smartphone and automatically logins to the websites.

Imagine the possibility of just sitting down on your computer and getting 'automagically' logged into your online accounts, without hitting a single key or moving the mouse. For example, users can now send iMessages, use Game Center, receive notifications and work with integrated iCloud for a streamlined experiences across various Apple devices. Microsoft rolled out an update to their Internet Explorer web-browser, the security update "KB2699988" fixes a total of thirteen security vulnerabilities. All versions of IE were patched including the latest IE9.

Automatic photo uploads come to Dropbox for iOS with a new way to earn free storage

dropboxThe Dropbox iPhone App has been updated to support automatic photo uploads and gallery view. After upgrading to new version, the app will prompt user for permission to automatically upload phone's camera roll (images and movies) to their Dropbox account.

To promote usage of this feature, users are also offered an reward of up to 3GB of bonus capacity in 500MB increments when data gets uploaded using the new feature.

Apple Unveils iOS6, Developer Preview Available For Download

Apple’s WWDC keynote 2012 unveiled the next major upgrade to the company's highly popular mobile operating system - iOS 6. With over 200 new features the all new Apple iOS6 is currently available as a free download for registered developers and will be made available to users this fall as a free software update.

The most notable new features and changes would be - all-new iOS6 Maps app which entirely replaces Google Maps, new Siri features and commands, Facebook integration for Contacts and Calendar, Social posting from Notification Center, Facebook-enabled apps like Photos, Safari, and Maps, ability to share Photo Streams via iCloud, a universal virtual ticket storage system Passbook. New 3D imagery for Google Earth for mobile

Google Earth is one of the successful projects from the company, and unlike numerous other Google Products is being continuously developed and upgraded with new features. After, textured 3D buildings Google Earth is soon going to offer 3D models of entire metropolitan areas on mobile devices.

Acknowledging the success to 45-degree aerial imagery, new rendering and computer vision techniques, Google says - creating 3D cityscapes, complete with buildings, terrain and landscaping is now easier and automated then earlier. Google plans to offer 3D coverage for metropolitan areas with a combined population of 300 million people by the end of this year.
