If Windows SkyDrive's 5 GB of free online storage is not sufficient for your needs, ADrive is offering a massive 50 GB of free secure online storage with file-sharing enabled, and unlike Mediamax 25 GB free storage offer with download limit, there is no such limitation here.
However, ADrive lacks a desktop client and all uploads are done via a Java interface, limiting the possibility to efficiently use the 50 GB backup space.

nice service!50Gb is more than enough for an active user!
So many options...
The technology somewhat, the number of companies using and providing the service especialy. I used mozy initially and moved to two seperate companies as I learned more about the industry and my requirements. I now use ibackup.com for home, non essential data and www.backupanytime.com for commercial mission critical stuff. I may amend my method and suppliers in the future but I think online backup is set to be more stick than telcos. Backupanytime.com provide a 365 day default retention so moving from them would not be a decision I would take lightly. Likewise ibackup offer on the move storage which while taken for granted by many customers is not available from everyone.

Great post
If it is about online backups then i think one has to go for certain features like, reliabily, costs and lots more.
I have like the services offered by Adrive it is very difficult to get an online backup solution offering such services.Am currently using an online backup solution called safecopy backup for all the backups i need. With safecopy, the cost is cheap and they offer free unlimited trial versions.
