Mozilla has introduced several new features to Firefox Aurora, the pre-Beta build branch of Firefox. The company has introduced Firefox Accounts, improved Sync and a brand new sleek user-interface with ability to be highly customizable and minimalistic, once tested in Pre-beta and Beta branches these changes will make there way into the Release branch in coming months.

United Kingdom internet service providers recently started enforcing censorship on adult websites in the country, and within days a simple to use install and forget solution allows users to bypass this censorship for FREE. The smart Google Chrome extension automatically uses a proxy service to reroute the traffic when the asked for website returns an error message from ISP saying the website is blocked in UK. This approach is simple and smart as it does not require the extension to maintain or check a list of blocked websites, the proxy automatically kicks in when an blocked message is encountered.

Internet Explorer 8 was the very first web-browser to utilize separate processes followed by Google Chrome, the separation of UI and multiple “content” processes to host web-content results in better security and performance. Using separate content processes allows them to be properly sandboxed enhancing security and will also result in better UI responsiveness as the browser UI would not be affected by poor performance of content processes.

Although the underlying Gecko platform on which Firefox runs supports multiple processes, the Firefox frontend is not designed to use them. Work to make the frontend support multiple processes began in early 2013, and fruits of the work are now available in Nightly builds of the browser. The new multi-process Firefox will make it a more stable web-browser, a crash in “content” process will not kill the entire browser and will show something like below telling which tab crashed allowing them to be reloaded.

Mozilla Firefox 22 is out now in Release channel and brings some amazing feature's to the open-source web-browser. Using a supercharged subset of JavaScript (asm.js) developers are creating high-intensity applications, like 3D games and photo processing to be consumed directly on the Web without having to install additional software or use any plugins at native performance levels. Opera has always been a light, reliable and fast web-browser, while a leading mobile web-browser it never really picked up on Desktop. Opera recently made the decision to use the fast and standard complaint Chromium rendering engine for there web-browser and has now finally revealed the result as Opera Next for Windows and Mac computers.

Opera Next has been developed from scratch to offer a completely revamped new look with a faster Chromium rendering engine, however it's similarity with Chrome web-browser ends there. Mozilla released the final stable version of Firefox 20 for both Desktop and Android platforms. The new Firefox update features a new minimalistic, streamlined, panel-based download manager, along with H.264 decoding on the 'video' tag, and per-window private browsing (per-tab private browsing on Android).
